Little did Officer Terry Spence know that, shortly after his training, he would need to put what he learned into practice.

Use-of-Force Up 27 Percent by Lethbridge Police Service

I commend the Lethbridge Police Service for their openness and transparency surrounding use of force and police interaction with citizens.

Other police forces are not so transparent on this issue. The Vancouver Police Department’s. The VPD’s annual report, for example, makes no mention of SBOR reports at all.

Should We Amend Hate Speech Laws to Protect Police Officers?

Adding police officers as a protected identifiable group under Canada’s hate speech laws will only make matters worse. It our right to criticise those who are granted power over the rest of us. To strip that right away from us because some police officers don’t want to be criticised is a wrong-headed approach.

Municipal Police to Doug Ford: Never Go Full Retard

It’s now clear (if it wasn’t before) that Ontario Premier Doug Ford and his so-called ‘conservative’ government has completely lost the plot.

While more and more American states end their lockdowns and mask orders, Doug Ford decided to go full retard, despite a decades-old warning against such stupidity.

Blake Harvey’s Murder Proves We Don’t Value Children’s Lives

Were it not for a cold case squad’s dedication to bringing Blake Harvey’s killer to justice, the case would remain unsolved.

Thank God for police officers who care about dead children or, more specifically, about bringing a child’s killer to justice.
