Today I ask you to pray for Pastor James Coates who, for the 13th day in a row, sits in a solitary confinement cell in the Edmonton Remand Centre – a maximum security prison – while that same facility released over 500 prisoners in the past year due to COVID, including dangerous offender Clint Carifelle.
Drug and Gun Smuggling Ring Busted
Congratulations to Cornwall Police Service for their part in shutting down a sophisticated smuggling operation that used Akwesasne territory on Cornwall Island to smuggle drugs south and illegal guns north.
In the process, Cornwall Police took down a well-known criminal with a Firearms Prohibition Order against him – not that the piece of paper stopped this repeat offender from obtaining more illegal guns.

Justice Minister David Lametti’s performance during last Thursday’s press conference for Bill C-22 rivalled Justin Trudeau’s or even William Shatner’s for overacting.
“We’re turning the page on a FAILED [overemphasised for dramatic effect] Conservative criminal justice policy.”
“It was an approach that did NOT [overemphasised for dramatic effect] make our communities safer.”

Misfires and Lawsuits Plague Sig Sauer P320
Last fall, a Sig Sauer P320 discharged while holstered during a JTF2 training exercise, wounding the soldier in the leg, CBC reported.
The new pistol was immediately removed from active service while an investigation into the issue is completed so, until further notice, Canada’s elite special forces unit will use their older and reliable Sig P226 pistols.
And the lawsuits continue to pile up.

It was fascinating to watch Bill Blair get roasted for ‘betraying’ a host of lobby groups who want the government to confiscate my legally-acquired and legally-owned firearms.
Those same lobby groups refuse to support Firearm Prohibition Order Reform to keep illegal guns out of the hands of convicted violent criminals.
Their position is a little bizarre, to be honest.
I don’t fear licensed firearm owners one bit but I am, at the very least, apprehensive about violent repeat offenders with illegal guns in their hands.

When police arrested drug dealer Matthew Kwasi Asare-Boah on January 28, 2021, they charged him a series of drug and firearms offences, including two counts of Possession of a Firearm Contrary to Prohibition Order.
Less than two weeks later, the Ontario Provincial Police arrested Matthew Kwasi Asare-Boah again and charged him with three new drug offences and two counts of Failure to Comply with a Release Order.
Windsor Drug Dealer Busted for Violating Firearms Prohibition Order
Jason Sulatycki, a 42-year-old drug dealer from Windsor, Ontario, was busted with an illegal firearm in contravention of his existing Firearm Prohibition Order on February 10, 2021, when Windsor’s Drugs and Guns Unit (DIGS) raided his home.
Police seized quantities of blue fentanyl, purple fentanyl, methamphetamine, and cocaine at the scene.
Another Drug Dealer with Firearm Prohibition Order Busted with Illegal Guns and Drugs
Tyler Busch is a prime example of why Canada’s Firearm Prohibition Order system is broken and must be fixed.
In the early morning hours of February 6, 2021, North Bay police executed a search warrant at the home of 39-year-old Tyler Busch.
Busch was arrested and charged with breaching a firearms prohibition order and the street was shut down due to a possible bomb scare.
An OPP Bomb Unit attended the scene to assist North Bay Police with clearing the house of what appears to be a meth lab.
