Jason Kenney: Alberta’s King of COVID and Master of Tone-Deaf Hypocrisy

The same day he ordered a Calgary SWAT team to perform a ‘high-risk takedown’ of Pastor Artur Pawlowski in the middle of a busy Alberta highway [Watch Arrest Video], Jason Kenney had the audacity to Tweet:
Today is an important commemoration of one of the greatest victories in the history of human freedom, the day when Canadian troops in Europe joined their allies in celebrating total victory and the complete surrender of the Nazi German regime.
Let’s rededicate ourselves to remembering those who made the ultimate sacrifice to ensure that future generations know about the central role that Canada played in that critical victory in Europe 76 years ago.
As a child, Artur Pawlowski grew up in in Poland under communist rule. Artur and his family experienced the nightmare of communism first-hand, so when he calls Calgary Police officers and Alberta Health authority representatives ‘Gestapo’ and ‘Fascist thugs’ he knows precisely what he’s saying and why.
Artur Pawlowski saw this all before.
He lived through the nightmare of government oppression and left it behind for a better life in Canada. Never in his wildest nightmares could Artur Pawlowski imagine he would suffer the same persecution here under a Canadian government.
Yet on Saturday, May 8, 2021, Artur Pawlowski was pulled over by police, hauled out of his vehicle onto a busy highway and forced to his knees, and police handcuffed him while vehicles whipped past him not more than six feet away. Once handcuffed, Artur was dragged into the back of a waiting police cruiser and hauled off to jail.
Then Artur Pawlowski was hauled into court in leg irons for his bail hearing on Monday, May 10th.
This is a Christian Pastor, not some serial killer who poses a flight risk, yet there are Canadians who believe locking up pastors is just fine if that’s what it takes to ensure The High Priest of COVID is obeyed.
This is NOT About the Virus
This is not about health. This is about total submission to government edicts. This is about submission before the Almighty God COVID and, in Alberta’s case, his High Priest Jason Kenney.
If you’re still deceived into the party line that COVID will kill you if Pastor Artur Pawlowski or Pastor James Coates preach a sermon to their congregations, you really need to take a hard look at the data – Alberta’s Data – because it doesn’t tell the story the government insists it tells.
They are liars.
The Alberta government’s own statistics show there is a 99.95% survival rate for COVID and a 99.79 Infection Survival rate for Albertans.
Is COVID real? Of course it is.
But it is not the Great Threat our political overlords and public health despots make it out to be.
COVID kills the same people in Alberta as it does in the rest of Canada – primarily those over 80 years old with serious health issues. In fact, in Alberta, almost twice as many people 80 years old or older died as all the other age groups COMBINED.
For age groups 0 thru 79, COVID killed 787 people, yet COVID killed 1,301 people over 80.
For those interested in learning more of the truth, these numbers are almost identical to those of the numbers of people killed every year by the flu, data still available from Statistics Canada.
The Charter
The Charter of Rights and Freedoms – never a grand bastion of personal liberty at the best of times – lies tattered and torn at Artur Pawlowski’s feet while gutless coward Premier Jason Kenney stomps the remaining shreds into oblivion, all while demanding we mere citizens remember the “central role that Canada played in that critical victory” over Nazi thugs 76 years ago.
We’re to remember the defeat of Nazi oppression by imposing that same oppression on Canadians today?
Premier Kenney, you have completely lost the plot.
Jason Kenney, you have the dubious honour of being the only provincial premier or state governor in all of North America to arrest and detain not one, but two Christian Pastors for the dastardly crime of preaching the Word of God on the Lord’s Day.
These heinous acts are how you ‘rededicate yourself’ to remembering those who made the ultimate sacrifice’?
You sicken me and every other thinking Canadian that sees past the deception, lies and fear porn of the COVID pandemic.

I can only assume Kenney’s personal rededication to remembering those who fought and died for our freedom is to impose the very Nazi policies so many Canadian soldiers fought and died to stop.
How else does one explain Jason Kenney’s crackdown on Alberta’s Christian Pastors?
Well, the non-stop fear porn peddled by Kenney and every other government leader across Canada is one explanation.
It’s well-known that the best way to subjugate a nation is to terrify its citizens non-stop for as long as possible because, lemmingly-put, people living in abject fear will do anything to ‘feel safe’. This includes turning in family members, friends or anyone else they stumble across who refuses to comply with the government’s insane orthodoxy.
The only way anyone can believe Christian Pastors are an egregious threat to public safety while Walmart, Costco and other big box retailers are not is if they’ve turned off their brains and made a conscious decision to ignore all the facts.
The Antidote to Fear
How anyone can still believe – after the non-stop bungling of COVID – that any level of government in Canada is willing to provide unbiased information baffles me.
The antidote to fear is information.
Ordinary Canadian adults are perfectly capable of making sound and rational decisions for themselves and their families when presented with unbiased factual information.
COVID governments will say absolutely so long as it confirms to their core message.
Governments around the world, not just in Canada, are aided and abetted in this treachery by complicit media outlets, whose stock and trade is fear, and by social media giants who refuse to allow discussion on their platforms.
The British Columbia government continues to hide the facts from its mere citizens. Thankfully, someone inside the BC government’s COVID machine thought the rest of us ought to know the truth.

A pair of internal reports leaked from the B.C. Centre for Disease Control highlights that health authorities in B.C. are only releasing a fraction of their available COVID-19 information to the public.
The reports include neighbourhood-level information on case and vaccination counts, for example, a level of detail the Centre has so far refused to make public despite repeated calls from academics and researchers.
Government mandarins cannot control a population if they have access to the truth, hence the reason every level of government in Canada continues to lie to and/or withhold data from its citizens.

Sorry Chris, usually I am onboard with your editorials, but you missed by a mile this time. Artur was born in 1973, about 30 years after the Nazis oppressed his family.
Not to take away from your point about what is going on in Alberta, but Artur has zero first hand experience in what happened with Nazis and Gestapo, any more then I did listening to my grandpa talking about those days. And I am 6 years older than Artur.

Premier Kenney – not mine as I do not live in Alberta – probably thinks he is doing the right things. And certainly you and others are free to blame him. But how soon we forget.
We forget how our Dr. Tam assured us all Covid was no big deal; our PM took no action to secure our borders early on; that same PM spent millions trying to buy vaccine from China and came up empty handed; same PM who refuses to stand up to China; and is the same person who has failed to acquire vaccine in a timely fashion over and over and over again.
As has often been heard, it’s hard to put a vaccine in an arm when you don’t have any vaccine. And of course you’ve completely forgotten to give that little “wet” market in Wuhan some of the blame or was it some little experiment in a lab ‘you know where’ that just got out of control. So blame Kenney if you like, but many feel he is way down on that list.

This column is way over the top. Having followed your reasonable output for several months I’m really surprised. (BTW, I’m not a Kenny fan but I sympathize with the Alberta government’s efforts to avoid a heath emergency without totally destroying the economy – a can’t win political situation which will probably cost them the next election.)

The so called vaccines are not true vaccines anyways. They should be called pre-emptive treatments. Doesn’t prevent you from getting or spreading covid. Possibly less symptoms with ‘vaccines’ but if it screws you up or kills you you have no recourse, can’t sue the vaccine company, because all the vaccines are still in the experimental phase. Just an ’emergency’ approval. It’s not going to end the lockdowns and restrictions.
I have a 99.6% or better chance of surviving covid so what’s the point. Besides who knows the long term effects. There certainly are a lot of terrible short term effects as reported https://www.openvaers.com/covid-data

I was surprised when I learned the FDA has not approved ANY of the COVID treatments except under “Emergency Use Authorization.” I didn’t realize there was such a distinction. As of May 7, 2021, Pfizer is attempting to become the only fully approved COVID vaccine, but that has yet to be granted, near as I can tell.
NBC News reports:
“Vaccines can only be authorized in this manner during public health emergencies — in this case, the Covid-19 pandemic. Indeed, all Covid-19 vaccines currently in use in the U.S. are being administered through EUAs.”

We can all go gather at big box stores for our groceries, It was okay to attend a super bowl, but no fines and no one was arrested.
I hardly believe the pastor is that much of a threat to passing covid in a church. How many people does his church hold? The parish is made up of the same people week after week. Is there evidence that his church is passing covid all over the province? I think not.
This is just another grand standing attempt to make it look like Kenny is doing his job. He should be trying to figure out how to find employment for thousands of oil patch workers who lost their jobs after Biden took office.
